Daily Nonogram
Three new puzzles each day, the same for every player, with the last 30 days to catch up on.

The daily nonogram is a free puzzle page that gives you three new nonograms every day: a 10x10 (Easy), a 15x15 (Medium) and a 20x20 (Medium). A nonogram is a logic puzzle on a grid, where the numbers beside each row and above each column tell you which squares to fill. Filling the right squares reveals a picture or pattern.
The page runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install. If you want a nonogram daily challenge or a daily picross habit, each day brings a fresh set, and an archive of the last 30 days lets you catch up on puzzles you missed.
Choose a size with the tabs above the board. A timer runs while you play, so you can see how long each puzzle takes. Your puzzles are made on your device, and nothing is uploaded. Printed puzzles are free to sell in books too.

How to play the daily nonogram
- Choose a size with the tabs above the board: 10x10 (Easy), 15x15 (Medium) or 20x20 (Medium).
- Read the clues. Each number beside a row or above a column is the length of a block of filled squares, listed in order.
- Click a square to fill it. To fill several squares at once, drag along a line. The drag stays on the row or column where it started.
- Right-click a square to mark it with an X when you know it is empty.
- On a phone, tap the Fill or X button first to choose what a tap does.
- When a row or column matches its clue, its clue numbers turn grey. If you get stuck, press Hint. It shows one square that a clue already proves and names the row or column that proves it.
- Press Check to mark wrong squares in red, or to see how many squares are still to fill.
Keyboard controls make play faster. Arrow keys move, Space or Enter fills, X marks a cross, and Backspace clears. Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on Mac) undoes a move, and Shift+Ctrl+Z redoes it. The Undo and Redo buttons do the same. The option “Cross out finished lines automatically” fills the remaining squares of a completed line with X marks. You can also use Print, which has a “Print the answer page too” option, or Copy link to share a link to that day’s puzzle.
When does the daily nonogram change?
The three daily puzzles change at 00:00 UTC. The page shows “Next puzzle in hh:mm”, so you can see how long is left until the next set starts.
Is the daily nonogram the same puzzle for everyone?
Yes. The daily puzzles are computed from the date, so everyone who opens the page on the same day gets the same three puzzles. The puzzle depends on the date, not on who is playing.
Can I play earlier days?
Yes. The “Choose a day” menu opens the puzzles of the last 30 days. Days and sizes you have finished get a tick (✓), and that record is stored in your browser.
How do the clues in a daily nonogram work?
Each clue is a list of block lengths, read from left to right for rows and from top to bottom for columns. Two blocks in the same line always have at least one empty square between them. A clue of 0 means the whole line is empty.
Clues also tell you what must be filled before you guess anything. A clue of 7 in a 10-square line must cover squares 4 to 7, because the block can start anywhere from square 1 to square 4 and still reach those four middle squares. Look for these overlaps first, then use the blocks you have confirmed to narrow down the rest. Every daily puzzle has exactly one solution, so careful logic always leads to the answer.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. Progress is saved separately for each date and size, so you can leave a daily puzzle and finish it later on the same device. It is stored automatically in your browser and restored when you come back to the page.
What difficulty are the daily puzzles?
The 10x10 daily puzzle is Easy: it can be solved one line at a time with obvious places to start. The 15x15 and 20x20 puzzles are Medium: still solvable line by line, but they need more passes over the rows and columns.

Can I play on a phone?
Yes. On a phone, tap the Fill or X button to choose what a tap does on the board.

It shows your time and the number of hints you used.
Can I print a daily puzzle?
Yes. Use the Print button. You can also tick “Print the answer page too” if you want the solved grid on a separate page.
Can I share a puzzle with a friend?
Yes. Copy link copies a link that opens exactly the same puzzle, so a friend can solve the same grid and compare times.
Why did my saved progress disappear?
Progress is stored only in the browser you played in. It is not kept in a private window, and clearing site data or switching to another browser or device starts fresh.
